April 2021- Sara Paye

Sara Paye was born in Portland, OR. After graduating from Azusa Pacific University, she is now studying creative writing as an MFA candidate at Sierra Nevada University. Paye currently works as a behavior specialist and owns a small gift business in Las Vegas, NV.

March 2021- Sofia Amorim

Sofia Amorim holds a Bachelors in English (Honors) from Drew University where she minored in creative writing, as well as a Masters of in Teaching of English. She currently serves as a delegate of the Pi Epsilon Pi Writing Honors society at Drew, and teaches English, Journalism, and Creative Writing in Newark Public Schools.

Ilma Qureshi is a doctoral candidate at the University of Virginia. For her research, she focuses on the intersection of aesthetics and spirituality in Persian Literature and South Asian Studies. Born in Multan, a small town nestled in south of Pakistan, she grew up listening to various local languages and writes short fiction and poetry in Persian, Urdu and English. By traversing through these linguistic landscapes, she hopes to unearth the myriad textures of beauty. Her work has appeared in journals such as Tafheem, Tareekh-e-Adab Urdu, Audio times and Active Muse.

JoliAmour DuBose-Morris is an 18-year-old screenwriter from Queens, New York who writes experimental versions of the black experience because we deserve the chance to ask: "what if?"

December 2020- Carolina Abreu

Carolina Abreu is a writer based in Brooklyn, New York. She looks to create a space of vulnerability, self-love, liberation and acceptance through her writing. Her goal is to inspire her generation and the future ones to believe in their authenticity while watering the roots planted by their ancestors and the ones they've planted themselves; to take the strength of the past and their present voice and use it to create a new path that is paved with inclusivity and kindness.

November 2020- Karina Guardiola- Lopez

Karina Guardiola- Lopez, is a writer, poet, actor and educator from New York City. She has been published in various magazines, anthologies and websites including: Writing For Peace, Great Weather for Media, The Scrib Arts Journal, Indolent Books, Poetica Magazine, Acentos Review, New Voices Anthology, The BX Files, Latinoauthor.com just to name a few.

She has also featured at various venues including: The NYC Poetry Festival at Governor's Island, National Black Theatre, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Q-Boro Lit Crawl, The Bronx Museum and many other locations. OCTOBER 2020- Liz Kerr

Liz Kerr has had poetry, short stories and non-fiction published in Philadelphia City Paper, Philly Fiction, The Galway Review, Sixteen Magazine (Dublin), Jewish Currents Magazine, Rust Belt Rising, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Irish Central. She is a registered nurse in heart transplant and oncology at a Philadelphia hospital. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and dual Irish and American citizenship.
